About Me: Coach Weston
Hi, I’m Weston Thompson, a private baseball coach with a lifelong love for the game of baseball and a desire to give back to the community that helped shape my journey.
I’ve been playing baseball since the age of 4, starting with BOMBA and then moving on to rep baseball with the Burlington Bulls when I was just 7 years old. After 9 years with the Bulls, in 2020 I joined the Ontario Royals, one of the premier baseball programs in the province who competes in the CPBL (Canadian Premier Baseball League) where I played for two years, and became a CBPL All-Star.
My commitment and performance led me south of the border to SUNY Niagara, a nationally ranked junior college baseball team in the U.S. I was proud to be a two-year starter there, and in my second year, I was named team captain. I helped lead our team to a #1 national ranking going into the NJCAA national championship tournament, where we proudly finished 4th in the country. I graduated with a .354 career batting average and earned a scholarship to play at Tiffin University in Tiffin Ohio (NCAA D2 University).
As a private coach, I specialize in working with players ages 8 to 15, focusing on hitting, throwing, catching, infield, and outfield skills. Whether your child is just beginning or preparing for a competitive season, I tailor each session to meet their unique needs and goals.
In addition to my playing background, I have coaching experience through youth summer baseball camps and flag football programs. I'm dedicated to helping the next generation of Canadian athletes develop strong fundamentals, build confidence, and find joy in the game just like I did.

I have played baseball for Halton organizations since I was 4 years old. I played AAA rep baseball from the age of 7 and then moved to the Canadian Premier Baseball League with the Ontario Royals in 2020.
My hometown is Burlington, Ontario Canada.
